Amsterdam-based company Just Dutch has released a range of hand-crocheted Miffy dolls, available to buy in the UK from www.MiffyShop.com, priced £18 + P&P.

There are seven dolls in the range, each showing Miffy – Dick Bruna’s classic storybook character - in a different outfit.

Featuring Bruna’s signature primary colour palette, fans can choose from: Miffy in her favourite red dress, green overall for gardening, blue jacket to keep her warm when it’s chilly, queenly crown and gown, red hood to keep her ears toasty, or even her white nurse’s uniform.

Each doll comes with one outfit at £18 - with the exception of the red hat and blue jacket Miffy which is priced at £25 - and additional outfits can be bought separately for £8.

Dutch artist, Dick Bruna created the classic children's character, Miffy, in 1955 whilst on a rainy seaside holiday in North Holland. A little bunny kept hopping around the garden of his holiday home and Dick Bruna made up stories about it to entertain his one year old son. That bunny later became Miffy.

More than 60 years later, there are 33 storybooks about Miffy which have sold over 85 million copies and are translated in more than 50 languages. There is Miffy merchandise sold across 5 continents, a new TV series airs in the UK on kid’s channel Tiny Pop, whilst Miffy the Movie is now available from UK iTunes and Google Play.
